Mt. Tamalpais KGO Antenna Tower Access Upgrade
Architectural project in Mt. Tamalpais, Marin County, California
Wagstaff + Rogers Architects was engaged as industrial architects to design critical safety and access improvements for the KGO antenna tower located atop Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County, California. This industrial infrastructure project required a technical approach to ensure long-term durability, safe maintenance access, and minimal disruption to an active broadcast installation.
Our scope included designing new access ladders, improving serviceability and creating a clear path for future maintenance operations in the remote and high-exposure location. As Bay Area institutional and industrial architects, we specialize in navigating complex, utility-driven environments where safety, clarity, and constructability are paramount.
